Key responsibilities
Operational Leadership and Team Management:
- Ownership over Operations department P&L and its efficient execution across Sorting and Logistics functions.
- Lead, motivate and manage a diverse team to achieve targets and ensure operational excellence.
Strategic Planning and Stakeholders Management:
- Analyze data to translate insights into actionable strategies for continuous improvement and optimization of Venipak operations.
- Support the development and launch of new business directions and value propositions to ensure customers growth and retention.
- Negotiate with third-party service providers to secure cost efficient workforce, logistics and infrastructure services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders, both internal (Local and HQ teams) and external.
- Monitor and implement best practices of Pan-Baltic organization.
- Ensure all operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
Experience:
- 5-10 years of work experience in a similar role within logistics, FMCG, or retail business.
- Proven track record in managing operational teams and delivering results.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for strategic planning and efficiency improvement. Great Excel skills are compulsory.
- "No bullshit" attitude candidate should follow extreme pragmatism and frugality principles in day to day decision making process.
- Proficient in both Estonian and English languages.
Personal Attributes:
- Strong sense of ownership, with ability to form and articulate opinion on business related topics.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on approach with a focus on achieving tangible results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and nurture Operations team.
