Purpose of the job:

Responsible for coordinating and directing the process of financial planning. Organizes and analyses various data sources to support designated business partners in decision making process. Execute controlling reporting process following local and corporate standards. In charge of management accounting and internal control.

Area of responsibility:

  • Coordinates planning processes within designated functions in compliance with global guidelines and local procedures, including consolidation planning input from all departments.
  • Analyses cost structure and resource allocation and advises on optimization.
  • Performs data input into all required planning systems, prepares financial planning presentations according to the given format and requirements.
  • Produces consolidated Income Statement and provide insights on the development of financial results.
  • Act as finance business partner for all key functions by ensuring support day-to-day business with financial insights, focusing on effective management of financial resources. 
  • Prepares various reports to stakeholders on any deviations, deficiencies and required improvements.
  • Leads management accounting by implementing, maintaining, monitoring internal control system.
  • Executes control over actual expenses / sales by analyzing monthly, year-to-date and year-to-go expenses/sales (actual, accruals, released and committed cost) using controlling tools.
  • Identifies gaps in existing controlling processes and tools and lead optimization process to increase compliance to the processes and financial accuracy.
  • Provides designated business partners with financial expertise and organize required financial trainings to business partners.
  • Participate in various departments meetings across the countries.
  • Works closely with Accounting department across Baltics to ensure management accounting standards reflected in Financial Statements.
  • In charge of functioning back-up system to accounting and tax functions in all Baltic countries in line with GBS and local legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in finance area 5-7 years
  • Proven financial professional with experience of managing a function
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (especially Excel and Power Point)
  • Proficiency in analyzing data using Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (ex. Power BI)
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work cross-country and cross-functionally across all levels in organization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Business travel (within Baltics countries and outside) required
