Common Shared Services (CSS) is an organization that provides expert transactional business services to Hitachi Energy out of five centers spread across the globe. Tallinn CSS offers supply chain management, financial and HR services for Northen Europe and Great Britain countries. This drives continuous improvement of productivity and service quality, which ultimately helps the Business Units to be more successful on the market.
Your responsibilities
- Preparation of the monthly financial reports and investigating variances
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities
- Work with business units, finance teams to align accounting policies and procedures for key areas to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting
- Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing consolidation, and prepare appropriate financial statements for reporting
- Conduct investigations and reconciliations of accounts
- Participate in internal control testing and prepare relevant documentation
- To be part of general accounting related international development projects and workgroups
Your background
- You hold a university degree in finance or similar
- Several of years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in English both oral and written
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Superior attention to detail
- Readiness to learn quickly and adapt
- SAP S4H knowledge as a plus
- Oracle/ABACUS HFM (Consolidator) experience is a plus
