Data Analyst
The Job in a Nutshell
The main goal of this role is to prepare, visualize, and make sense of data to support important business decisions. You'll be gathering information from different sources and either providing analytical insights for key stakeholders or spotting patterns and trends to offer fact-based suggestions.
A Sneak Peek into Your Role
- Act as a member of an agile B.I. team supporting team members and collaborating with a can-do attitude to ensure product and team success.
- Where applicable write, test and troubleshoot data transforming code to keep the data integrity utilizing the most appropriate technologies/methodology.
- Analyze the performance of reports or dashboards and act to correct deficiencies based on consultation with key stakeholders and relevant departments.
- Write and maintain data transformation and metrics/KPIs-related documentation.
- Document analytical problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide it as reports and visualized dashboards.
- Transform the data to a more suitable format for analytics and visualization.
- Identify and outline the technical debt in our reporting solutions, and actively contribute to its resolution.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to implement new Data Warehouse features when the required data is unavailable or not in an optimized format for analysts.
Youre good at
- Data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar BI platforms.
- Using SQL to query large datasets.
- Nice to have: R or Python.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with iGaming products is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
- Curiosity and skills to investigate data from multiple angles.
- Performing data cleaning and transformation operations.
- Good in problem-solving.
- Flexibility and willingness to accept a change in priorities if necessary, and understanding the business context.
