As a Junior Accountant, you will support financial processes, ensure accurate reporting, and assist with invoicing, reconciliations, statutory filings, and monthly closings. Working closely with the team, you will help maintain financial accuracy and meet deadlines.

Your daily tasks will be

• Verifying the source documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Document types could include: purchase invoices, expense claims, travel reports, and LLD reports etc.
• Route invoices through the appropriate confirmation process.
• Allocate costs according to project requirements.
• Reconcile bank accounts weekly by gathering and balancing data.
• Prepare the payments.
• Maintain and review accounting records, ensuring all entries are accurately assigned to the appropriate accounts.
• Assist with fixed asset reporting, including draft checks, amortization runs, and balance sheet verification.
• Support prepaid expense management, including draft checks, periodization runs, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Provide assistance to team members with additional tasks as needed.
  

What we expect from you

• A degree in Accounting/ Finance or an equivalent qualification (can be in progress).
  
• Experience working in the assisting role is beneficial.
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting legislation, procedures, and principles.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Estonian.
  
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
