In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Ensure coordination and maintenance of sustainability area activities in the Baltic Banking (collect inputs from various stakeholders, follow on progress and ensure reporting)
- Contribute to assessment of regulatory expectations from ECB and EBA on ESG risk management and support implementation of specific ESG risk management activities in the 1st line of defense
- Lead various sustainability-related tasks and projects (e.g. coordination of sustainability and environmental policies updates, internal reporting improvement)
- Contribute to preparation of sustainability-related disclosures (e.g. annual report, CSRD report)
What is needed in this role:
- University degree in the field of sustainability, risk, legal, economics, finance
- Competence in EU's Sustainable Finance landscape (ECB supervisory expectations, EBA Guidelines on ESG Risk Management, EU Taxonomy, etc)
- Understanding ESG risks (physical and transition risks) or credit risks would be an advantage
- Strong project management experience (at least 3 years) dealing with complex processes and products, wide stakeholder management experience
- Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communications, good presenting skills; proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Proficiency in English language and of one of the Baltic languages (both written and spoken)
- Self-starting mindset with ability to learn fast
