Selkirk Sport is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize all facets of our global supply chain operations. This role will oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution to ensure seamless, cost-effective, and high-performance supply chain operations that align with our overall business goals. This is a pivotal leadership role requiring strong cross-functional collaboration, analytical acumen, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiency, scalability, and resilience throughout the supply chain.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing global supply chain functions.

Experience in the sporting goods, consumer products, or manufacturing industries is strongly preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of supply chain dynamics in these sectors.

Proficient in leading ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, with a strong command of logistics software and supply chain analytics tools for planning, optimization, and reporting.

Proven ability to design and refine supply chain processes, with experience collaborating directly with software developers to build and implement automation tools that enhance operational efficiency.

Skilled in cost control, and supply chain financial planning. Capable of aligning supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.

Demonstrated success in managing complex supplier networks, contract negotiations, and international logistics, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, identify risks and opportunities, and develop data-driven strategies that improve performance and service levels.

Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing supply chain teams. Fosters a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Able to influence cross-functional stakeholders and effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus in a global operating environment.

APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar professional certification is highly desirable and considered a strong asset.

Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations across sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution.

Manage third-party transportation and logistics partners to achieve high service levels and on-time delivery performance.

Optimize inventory planning to balance working capital, minimize risk, and support service-level targets while reducing excess and obsolescence.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to align demand forecasts with production and inventory plans.

Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships. Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure cost efficiency and high product quality.

Work closely with manufacturing, operations, and sales teams to synchronize production schedules and delivery timelines.

Leverage supply chain data and KPIs to identify performance gaps, generate actionable insights, and drive continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental standards. Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning and supplier diversification.

Implement and utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain software tools for planning, tracking, and reporting. Collaborate with software teams to develop automation and custom solutions.

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing supply chain team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Champion lean principles and best practices to continually refine and improve end-to-end supply chain processes.
