Purpose of the role:

While the essence of Bombay is the offline venues where our elite VIP clientele will be immersed in exclusivity and luxury, its the online experience which precedes and facilitates this. Our online wallets, casino and agent management software, and VIP online casino are central to onboarding and maintaining the relationship with our customers and enabling a seamless online / offline experience. Reporting to the Head of Online Services, the Product Manager is part of the team that ensures the online services delivered by our Platform teams are both functionally fit for purpose and branded with the look and feel to support Bombays vision. This role is a critical contact point between our developers and product leads (Platform), and our Commercial, VIP services, and casino teams (Bombay).

Your responsibilities will be: 

Ensure all online services delivered by the platform team are aligned with the needs and vision of Bombay by:

  • Managing the development and maintenance of VIP focused online products and services used by Bombay teams internally and Bombay client externally. This will include Wallets, Identity, Online and Offline Casino Software, and Agent payments systems.
  • Managing and prioritising a Bombay online services product roadmap that supports and delivers on our VIP requirements.
  • Communicating the online product vision to senior stakeholders, clearly highlighting risk / reward strategies being employed in the development cycles.
  • Defining the online VIP experience, in consultation with Bombay delivery teams.
  • Bringing the perspective of our elite VIP clients (their needs and problems with the online products) into the decisions and the long-term planning of the platform team.
  • Soliciting feedback from product consumers, creating an empirical assessment of its voracity and determining the best course of action.
  • Developing and fostering deep partnerships with all stakeholders to set strategies, priorities, and resourcing.
  • Testing, testing and more testing of our VIP online offering to ensure it meets the high standards we have set for ourselves.
  • Advising (forcibly when needed) about what works for our VIPs and what does not work.
  • Approving the design solutions created by the platform team.
  • Driving the platform team in their tasks, actively participating in the discussions about any project and assume responsibility for matters impacting Bombay.
  • Contributing to the creation of the Bombay seamless vision, which is designed to allow our VIP clients to journey seamlessly between the online and offline casino worlds.
  • Establishing a performance evaluation routine and metrics for online services and provide constant feedback to the Bombay delivery team.
  • Identifying and driving opportunities to align online design and user experiences with offline products and venues.
Key skills & experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in UX and/or a related field.
  • Experience in a casino (online or offline), customer-facing fintechs, or a related field.
  • Experience defining and managing requirements in web, desktop, and mobile environments.
  • A clear understanding of online product management lifecycles.
  • Logical approach with good process awareness and the ability to handle multiple development streams in parallel.
  • Ability to discover new insights about client needs, product usage, and market trends relating to online casinos, crypto wallets, and elite VIP experiences.
  • Demonstrated success in creating a collaborative culture among design, engineering, and product teams.
  • Flawless attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the absolute best elite VIP experience.
  • Experience conducting experiments and A/B testing.
  • An understanding of (or willingness to learn) crypto and blockchain dynamics.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across a wide spectrum of individuals.
  • Effective in social settings where it may be necessary to solicit feedback firsthand from our VIP clients.
